From time to time, the Centre undertakes projects that need extra support. These special appeals invite you to contribute directly to the initiatives below:

Chatsworth Sub-Centre: Boundary Wall Project

The Ramakrishna Centre of South Africa: Chatsworth Sub-Centre is undertaking a vital infrastructure project to construct a secure boundary wall around its premises. This initiative is essential to safeguard the Centre’s spiritual and community activities, especially in light of potential land invasions in the surrounding area.

With an estimated cost of R175,123, the project covers materials, labour, and transport. We humbly invite your support in bringing this effort to completion.

Ladysmith Sub-Centre: New Utility Building Project

The Ramakrishna Centre of South Africa: Ladysmith Sub‑Centre, has embarked on a significant construction project to build a new utility building. This facility will include two lock‑up vehicle garages, a general purposes room, an indoor kitchen, and an outdoor cooking area, covering 118m² with an estimated value of R950,000. The building will provide secure storage for the Centre’s Quantum vehicle, used to transport devotees and children in the Children’s Education Programme, while the kitchens will support the preparation of fresh meals for the Swami Vivekananda Family Welfare Programme.

A foundation‑laying pooja was performed by Revered Swami Swatmaramanda on 29 September 2025.

With a target completion date of May 2026, this project will strengthen the Centre’s ability to serve the community. We humbly invite your support in bringing this effort to completion.
