The 190th Birth Anniversary Celebration of Sri Ramakrishna was held at The Ramakrishna Centre of South Africa, Glen Anil on 21 February 2026 in the Swami Nischalananda Hall. The programme featured an introductory address by Revered Swami Swatmaramanandaji Maharaj, followed by the keynote address delivered by the Honourable Justice Mr Ranjiv Nirghin. A captivating Bharatanatyam dance performance was presented by Darshana Rama and the Aradhana Dance Group, after which there was a presentation of hampers to recipients of the Swami Vivekananda Welfare Programme. The event concluded with a certificate presentation to learners of the Sri Sarada Maa Sewing Course, a comprehensive 10‑week programme aimed at upskilling and empowering women with practical and marketable skills, which was offered completely free of charge.
