Most Revered Srimat Swami Suhitanandaji Maharaj, Vice-President of The Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, India, visited South Africa from January 24 to February 4, 2025. Most Revered Maharaj was accompanied by Revered Swami Chandrakantanandaji Maharaj and Revered Swami Sevatmanandaji Maharaj.

The visit began with a warm welcome reception on January 25 as part of the Swami Vivekananda Birth Anniversary Celebration. During the event, Most Revered Swami Suhitanandaji Maharaj delivered the keynote address, while Revered Swami Swatmaramanandaji Maharaj (President of the Ramakrishna Centre of S.A) gave the introductory address and performed devotional songs.

Most Revered Srimat Swami Suhitanandaji Maharaj visited numerous Centres, Sub-Centres and Satsang groups between January 26 and February 4, 2025. These included the Phoenix Centre, Etete Satsang Group, Pietermaritzburg Sub-centre, Newcastle Sub-centre, Estcourt Sathsang Group, Dundee Sub-centre, Ladysmith Sub-centre, Divine Life Society in La Mercy, Sarva Dharma Ashrama in Welbedacht, Chatsworth Sub-centre, Sri Sarada Devi Ashram, Ramakrishna Vedanta Centre in Cape Town, and the Johannesburg Sub-Centre. He was accompanied by Revered Swami Swatmaramanandaji Maharaj.

On February 1, a special Satsang program was held, featuring addresses by both Most Revered Srimat Swami Suhitanandaji Maharaj and Swami Chandrakantanandaji Maharaj. The following day, on February 2, a Mantra Diksha (spiritual initiation) program was conducted, where Most Revered Srimat Swami Suhitanandaji Maharaj provided Mantra Diksha to 98 new initiates.

Most Revered Srimat Swami Suhitanandaji Maharaj, along with Swamis Chandrakantanandaji and Sevatmanandaji, concluded their visit and departed from Johannesburg on 5 February 2025, heading to the Lusaka Vedanta Centre.
