The Ramakrishna Centre of South Africa, in collaboration with the Sri Sanathan Dharma Sabha of South Africa, hosted an Artificial Intelligence Seminar aimed at educating devotees and youth on the relevance and benefits of AI from engineering, IT and legal perspectives. Held on 12 July 2026 at the Ramakrishna Centre of South Africa, Glen Anil, Durban, the programme drew approximately 120 attendees. Expert speakers included Professor Sunil Maharaj (Topic: Why AI Matters – Engineering & Technical Perspective), Mr Sudip Basu (Topic: AI for Your Career – IT Perspective) and Ms Raksha Singh Semnarayan (Topic: Legal Implications of AI – Legal Perspective), followed by an engaging panel discussion. Two hundred book packs were distributed, each containing literature on Swami Vivekananda, Tejasvi for children, notebooks, publications from the Sri Sanathan Dharma Sabha and brochures, all completed with a custom “Thank You” sticker. The event concluded with lunch prasad, marking a meaningful and informative gathering for devotees and youth alike.
