The Ramakrishna Centre of South Africa, Ladysmith Sub‑Centre, hosted a National Women’s Day Health Roundtable on Sunday, 2 August 2026, from 10:00 to 12:30pm, welcoming approximately 70 women for a morning dedicated to women’s health and wellness. The programme opened with a special welcome reflecting on the historic significance of National Women’s Day in South Africa. Thereafter, an expert panel delivered the following presentations: Raksha Ramphal (Dietician) on Nourishing the Woman You Are, Dr S. Behariram (Family Medicine Specialist) on Screening and Prevention of Female Cancer, Arishna Maghoo (Physiotherapist) on Understanding Backache, Alisha Lalbeharie (Podiatrist) on Why Your Feet Matter at Every Stage of Life, and Renila Ruby Narian (Yoga Practitioner) who led a gentle yoga session. Each presentation concluded with an interactive quiz where participants won special prizes for correct answers. The roundtable closed with an engaging panel discussion and Q&A session, after which lunch was served and all attendees received special gifts.
